A Letter Comes From CKD Stage5 Patient From Papua New Guinea

Tima Kaeyo has been diagnosed with CKD stage 5 in his own country--Papua New Guinea. He came to China with his duaghter for medical treatment. After Chinese treatment, his condition improved a lot, which helps him avoid Kidney Transplant. He was excited about the result and wrote a thanks latter for the Dr. And Nurse.

Word of thanks

I am not much of a letter writer, so i shall write as if I am talking to you. Thank you all of you for being my family away from home for the 2 months that I have been with you. You have cooked for me, cared for me, laughed with me, talked with me and did everything with me and for me just as my own family would.

When I was diagnosed with CKD, and the doctors told me the only option was to do a transplant, I was facing a bleak future as I knew that statistics for success rate for kidney transplant patients in my country was not good. Then by the grace of God, we found out about YourKidney Disease Hospital and I am very happy that I made the decision to come here. After I received the treatment, i am delighted to say “bye-bye, dialysis!”

I would like to say than you firstly to Dr’Helen for assisting with all arrangements and making if possible for me to come here, to Kikco my nurse and Joe my doctor, you have being a daily presence since the first day, anticipating my needs and taking care of me and i want to to know that I appreciate everything you did for me. To Kevin, Oki, Helen, Director Yang , professor ...and all the team of nurses and doctors who are too many to name in this letter, thank you all for your smiles and the care you extended to me. May God bless you, your families and your work as you continue to serve.
